Escape To Freedom is a 3D first-person action horror (with stealth elements) game developed for PC by a two-person team. You play as a student trapped inside a bizarre, nightmarish school and your only goal is to escape—if you can.

The game begins as you slowly open your eyes, only to find yourself face-to-face with a talking toilet. This strange character acts as your guide throughout the game, giving you missions and helping you progress. The school consists of 8 floors, each featuring different challenges, increasing difficulty, and unique objectives.

Each floor is guarded by patrolling teachers and security cameras. Cameras rotate periodically, creating short windows of opportunity to move. If they detect you, teachers are alerted and immediately start chasing you. Teachers patrol the corridors, cannot see behind them, but are extremely sensitive to sound—so stealth and noise control are crucial. If you get caught, you restart the floor.

To progress, escaping the floor is not enough; you must also complete the mission assigned for that floor. For example, on the first floor you must collect three mushrooms located in different areas such as the corridors, library, and classrooms. On the final floor, your task is to collect ten flying books scattered around the area before finally escaping the school.

The talking toilet is located in the boys’ restroom on every floor, and players must visit it to receive their objective before attempting the escape.
